Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything learners ask us about VicRoads driving tests in Western Melbourne.

It depends on where you live. Residents in Altona, Laverton, and Williams Landing typically use Laverton. Those in Sunshine, St Albans, and Deer Park use Sunshine. Werribee, Point Cook, Tarneit, and Hoppers Crossing learners generally use Werribee. Our instructors will help you choose the best centre for your suburb.
Yes. We offer instructor car hire for your VicRoads drive test at all three Western Melbourne test centres. Our dual-control vehicles are fully approved for testing. You can book a warm-up lesson before your test for extra confidence.
It varies by learner. Most students benefit from at least 2–3 test-focused lessons specifically around the test centre's routes after completing their log book hours. If you've had consistent practice with a supervisor, 1–2 lessons may be enough. We'll assess your driving in the first lesson and give you honest advice.
VicRoads does not publish fixed routes, and examiners can vary the route each session. What we do is train you on all the roads and scenarios most commonly used around each test centre — so regardless of which route the examiner takes, you'll be familiar with the conditions.
Yes. Monika herself is an experienced female driving instructor and is available for test prep lessons. We understand many learners feel more comfortable with a female instructor, and we're happy to accommodate that preference. Just let us know when you book.
