What is MORT Covers?
Vehicle Control
Smooth acceleration, braking, steering, and gear changes throughout different driving conditions.
Observation Skills
Effective use of mirrors, blind spot checks, and awareness of other road users and hazards.
Positioning
Correct lane positioning, following distances, and spatial awareness in various traffic situations.
Parking Skills
Parallel parking, reverse parking, and angle parking in real-world Monika’s locations.
Prerequisites
- Valid learner's permit for minimum required period
- Completed required supervized driving hours
- Passed hazard perception test
- Passed knowledge test (theory)
- Medical clearance if applicable
Test Costs
- Standard test fee: $89.20
- Re-test fee: $89.20
- Vehicle hire (if needed): $50-80
- Additional lesson before retest: $75
- Test booking fee may apply
Upon Passing
- Receive full Victorian driver's license
- No longer require supervision
- Can drive independently with restrictions
- P1 license conditions apply
- Upgrade to P2 after 12 months
